~THE PAGEANT~
Mr. Hudson's Bay is a mock Miss America pageant hosted at the Skyview auditorium every year. For four months, I will devote
a big part of my time to raise money for this cause.
This pageant began thirteen years ago to support the Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Last year we
donated just over $91,000 to the hospital, and this year we are going to strive to beat that.
Collectively, over the past thirteen years, Mr. Hudson's Bay has given over $430,000 to the hospital where 100% of the
profits are donated to the hospital. For all of the hard work and commitment to the children, Doernbechers has devoted an
entire wing in the hospital to our school.
So now, I am asking for community outreach. I know that with your help, we can donate $100,000 to Doernbechers. Any donations
or fund raising ideas would greatly contribute.
